Is it time to invest in new Armour?
Character is a level 20 E/N , I'm a pretty new player.
I just made it off the first Island in Nightfall and since I also have Factions I now have access to those missions. My Current set-up is : Is it worth it to spend all that money now to buy armor with 60 strength ? Do I have to use a Superior Salvage Kit to get all those ruins & Insignias off? How long until I get access to buying even stronger armor? ( I bought scrolls to the Deep & 1 to the Warren and one Pass to the Underground). I have about 9 maybe 10 K. Thanks. |

60 is max armor for an ele. You can get it in consulate docks at max AL. As well as many other places. However consulate is the only 1.5k set I believe in nightfall.

I would advise to to buy max armour(60 ar) as soon as possible as it will aid you greatly later in the game. Use the salvage kit to get the runes off if thier value is greater than the cost of a salvage and you will use them again.
You can get max armour in consulate docks in nightfall or kaineng centre in factions. Good luck |

Also, make sure to remove the armor prior to salvaging the runes and sigs off of it.
It seems (in my experience) to prevent breakage to some degree. Or get someone to craft you a Perfect Salvage kit to use on the first rune or sig you want to pull off each piece of armor, then use the expert salvage kit. That way if it breaks on the second you'll already have both the mods off. =) Last edited by greywolf31; Feb 13, 2008 at 06:45 PM // 18:45.. |
